A FERTILE MIND IN NEUROSCIENCE…… 

Long before Hollywood produced the movie “Concussion” Rob Lowry M.D. was ringside, on the field, and in clinic evaluating, treating and rehabilitating patients, suffering the effects of Concussion, Whiplash & Traumatic Brain Injury.

Graduating in 83’ with honors in Science, Rob Lowry went on to receive his M.S. in Anatomy & Neurosciences, co-authoring “Brain Games” and an interactive NeuroAnatomy curriculum for the Computer Medicine & Anatomy departments of George Washington Medical School.

Earning his M.D. in 93’, Dr. Lowry, pursued his studies is Physiatry and received a diplomat in Pain Medicine. He then continued on becoming accredited as a USA Boxing & Golden Gloves Physician and, an official TDL licensed, Ringside Physician.

Next, began a 25 year journey researching, discovering, evaluating & successfully treating Concussion, Whiplash & Traumatic Brian Injury. While starting in Boxing and sports injuries, Dr. Lowry broadened his scope of practice to include Work, Occupational, Vehicular and Personal Injury related to Concussion, Whiplash & Traumatic Brain Injury.

Now, 25 years later, the same passion which led young Rob Lowry to pursue NeuroScience is responsible for his founding, The Concussion Recovery Centre: South Texas’ 1st and only, multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic dedicated to the Diagnosis & Treatment of Concussion, Whiplash & Traumatic Brain Injury.
